MASSACHUSETTS HOUSE BILL 1168
VERSION: Introduced January 1, 1997
AN ACT PROHIBITING UNILATERAL NO FAULT DIVORCE FOR IRRETRIEVABLE BREAKDOWN.
TEXT: Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 208 of the General Laws, as appearing in
the 1994 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words "section
one A and B", in lines 8 and 9, and inserting in place thereof the
following: section one A.
SECTION 2. Section 1A of said chapter 208, as so appearing, is hereby amended
by striking out the words "or their attorneys"', in line 3.
SECTION 3. Said chapter 208 is hereby further amended by striking out section
one B.
